Old County Court is conveniently located in Coventry’s Cathedral Quarter and situated amidst a range of restaurants all located around the cobbled streets within Coventry’s City Centre. 
Just next door to Old County Court is The Slug and Lettuce and they do a range of sharing boards - perfect for lunch and a few drinks, along with main meals and tapas sharers. You can also enjoy a range of cocktails that are on offer and even indulge in a cocktail tree. 
Old Bayley Lane is also located next door to Old County Court and is a quaint restaurant overlooking Coventry Cathedral. All of the meals are freshly prepared using fresh ingredients and you can enjoy a range of options from a burger stacked high to a trio of meats on Sunday. Right next to Old County Court down Pepper Lane there is also Pizza Express and PlayWrights. Playwrights is an intimate restaurant with good hearty comfort food.

Things to do in Coventry and Warwickshire with Children.

The summer holidays are upon us and finding things to do over the summer holidays can be a bit of a challenge. Keeping children occupied for weeks on end isn’t easy but there are plenty of things to do in Coventry and Warwickshire this summer to keep children happy and healthy.

Summer Camps
Sky Blues in the Community have football camps all throughout the summer holidays and the camps are open to boys and girls aged 5-12 years old. The camps are designed for all children regardless of ability so they have some fun and stay active. Check out their website here.
The Wave
A colossal water park right in the heart of Coventry City Centre, features the UK’s biggest wave pool, lazy river, along with six high-octane slides for the daredevils out there. There’s also a spa on-site so you if you feel like having some rest and relaxation for yourself, or to treat yourself to a facial, massage or spa experience, there’s plenty of opportunities for this.
Go Ape Coventry
Recently opened at Coombe Abbey Country Park amongst 500 acres of woodland, stunning gardens and a lake. There’s a 12 metre vertical drop, a zip line, treetop challenges, adventures and thrill seeking challenges.
Jam Jam Boomerang
If it’s a rainy day, jam jam Boomerang is the perfect place to take children. It’s a fun adventure filled indoor play area complete with bridges, rollers, slides, laser tag and a football area.
Twycross Zoo
Twycross Zoo is a full day out for all the family. There’s over 500 animals including giraffes, penguins, meerkats, flamingos, elephants, monkeys and so much more. There’s also a range of talks that go on throughout the day. You can pack up a picnic and spend the whole day there. Children under 2 years of age go free and children are just £10.
Walks
    There’s some lovely places to take a stroll to get the little ones out and about. Brandon Marsh nature reserve features acres of woodlands, pools, bird hides, wild flowers, meadows and you as you walk around the reserve you can spot a variety of rare birds.     Ryton Pools is a scenic place to go for a walk or bike ride with plenty of trails and paths to go down to discover lakes, look out hides and hills. You can hire out bicycles, karts, buggies, tandems, choppers and go off and have a day out taking in the fresh air and countryside views.
